The George Hotel - Inveraray

The setting was quite beautiful within easy reach of a listed building museum.

Had a very nice stay for a night or weekend away by the water. I had superb food for breakfast with a great atmosphere. Location: the hotel was close to all the sightseeing, restaurants and pubs in town. Plus, it was good for exploring a listed building museum.

Management could improve organization during peak times!!! Noise from accommodations above affected sleep quality!!! Dining reservations seemed misplaced, leading to frustrations!!!

It's conveniently close to nice sites like Inveraray Castle, just a short walk away, and the beautiful grounds around it offer the kind of park views I love exploring.

Fantastic food, warm service!

Had a blast during my stay, especially enjoying the fantastic seafood dinners and the cozy vibe in the bar area. The outdoor garden was a nice spot to chill with friends after a day of exploring, and the live music was a fun touch. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking, but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience! 🌟

The George is a charming historical hotel that offers a comfortable stay with spacious rooms and excellent facilities. The room I stayed in had a large bed, and the bathroom featured lovely toiletries. The dining experience was really good, particularly the very good beef cheek, the highlight of my meals. The cute atmosphere and friendly staff added to the overall positive experience.

The breakfast spread was a real treat, especially the haggis and the superb scallops that danced on my tastebuds! Plus, the warm welcome for our pooch.

Opening the window would've been fab as it got steamy in the room, and the absence of a cozy lounge area had us wandering after check-in till we found a spot to chill.

Excellent hotel with spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and a lovely bar area. On my first visit, the staff recommended a local taxi, very helpful. I can't wait for my next city trip!

I was enchanted by the hotel! The open log fires created a cozy atmosphere that gave the feeling of home, while my Beautiful Room included a jacuzzi-total bliss! Clearly knowing their menu and ensuring I felt taken care of.

We stayed in the Beautiful King Room for two nights. The room was spacious and had a fantastic loch view. Super comfy bed, and the jacuzzi bath was a nice bonus. Everything felt cozy and relaxing. The decor was charming, keeping that historic vibe without feeling outdated. Really enjoyed our time there!
